Peggy McClain
Peggy McClain, Director of the RMS Division, has more than 13 years of experience encompassing nearly all areas of accounting. Mrs. McClain has worked in a variety of industries, and has developed expertise in payroll, procedure analysis, and construction applications.
Starting her career as a staff accountant, she earned her CPA in Texas in 1989, and eventually advanced to the level of Assistant Controller with Teal Construction Company, a Houston-based corporation. Teal Construction, founded in 1947, has projects throughout the United States such as auto dealerships, and commercial/retail, community, industrial, and institutional establishments; with some of these exceeding 90,000 sq. ft. Teal and its associated companies provide services which include design/build, general contracting, renovations/additions, construction management, pre-construction, interior design, and architectural design.
As Assistant Controller, Mrs. McClain was responsible for the oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, project costing, cash flow analysis, general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation and review, and payroll production for several of Teal’s associated companies. Peggy also has experience in implementing new accounting systems, policies, and procedures in several corporations; she is looking forward to using these skills to fully develop the great potential she sees in the RMS Division.
